KLIKWOOD Australian designed and manufactured demountable partition system.
Available in standard CLT Bamboo or optional Australian sourced timbers. Finished natural or stained/painted to any colour using only ZERO VOC products.
KLIKWOOD is a single glazed partition system 100x40mm with a self-clamping anchored profile for easy/straightforward assembly and disassembly.
The click on profile frame allows front access to the levelling foot providing adjustment of the glass by single tool. Glass can be adjusted while in place making it fast to assemble. The levelling feet which work as both a seat for the glass as well as precision levelling can compensate for any uneven areas of flooring and ceiling up to 50mm (+/-25).
KLIKWOOD standard laminated glass is 5+5+0.38 or 6+6+.38 with a reach of up to 3m high. On request and acoustic requirements, glass panels can be supplied with 5+5+0.76 6+6+0.76 acoustic laminated glazing. The glazed panels are connected together by in-line, 2 and 3-way transparent polycarbonate joints. The joints are provided with internal double-sided 3M adhesive tape to guarantee perfect structural adherence and sound insulation. KLIKWOOD’S anticipated acoustics performance is between 32Rw – 40Rw.
Framed glazed or solid swing doors are equipped with acoustic seals and floor drop-down seal. Doors fitted with standard KLIKWOOD pull handle with the option for client specified pull or lever handle and cylinder locking. Optional upper door closer is available on request. Door frames can be predisposed to accommodate electric locking and booking panels.
The production of Bamboo and Timber partition systems requires 5 times less energy as compared to aluminium frames and is 100% recyclable. The tensile strength of hardwood is 3- 4 times that of steel.
A circular economy favours activities that preserve value in the form of energy, labour, and materials. This means designing for durability, reuse, remanufacturing, and recycling to keep products, components, and materials circulating in the economy.
